METAL AND MACHINERY SECTOR PROGRAMS
"Metal and Machinery Sector" depends on workforce in a wide spectrum that require important qualifications. Workers of the scope of this sector carry out tasks of extreme importance such as welding and metal processing, setting-up complex machinery and installation systems, pressure equipment manufacturing, installation and inspection, nondestructive testing. The importance of the work that needs to be done brings out the essence training, examining and certifying workers with respect to the necessary proficiencies.
TÜV AUSTRIA, having 140+ years of international experience in the area, provides TÜRKAK accreditted programs on training, examination and certification of metal and machinery sector employees.
SECTOR SCOPES
PRESSURE EQUIPMENT DIRECTIVE (PED)
Pressure vessels and tubing can be of great danger. Steam boilers, pressurized tanks, portable pressure equipment, industrial tubing systems and other similar pressure vessels expose industrial and public apprehension in terms of their functional reliability and safety. For this reason, laws and regulations enforce certain tests and controls to be carried out on such pressurized equipment in authorization and inspection processes.
Frequent explosions caused by steam boilers was the main reason behind the establishment of our company in the 19th century and for over 140 years by today, TUV AUSTRIA has been actively operating on safety criteria of steam and pressure based technologies.
Content and requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) must be implemented in our country and within all European Union member states since July 2016. TÜV AUSTRIA Personnel Certification Co. Ltd. is offering TÜRKAK accreditted training and examination programs in many titles such as:

NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING PERSONNEL
TÜV AUSTRIA Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Personnel Certification Program is based on training and examination of NDT staff who carry out inspections on materials regarding TS EN ISO 9712:2012 - Standard on Certification of Non-Destructive Testing Personnel.
